1995 Marconi Scholarship Showcase Team Gaining Prominence

The '95's Marconi Scholarship Showcase team, who started with tryouts in the Fall of 2012, are quickly gaining prominence. After playing in the Winstar Showcase Tournament in mid-December, 7 players were contacted from various USA Colleges and Universities. Their next trip sees them travelling to Las Vegas to participate in the Moyor's Cup International Soccer Tournament (http://lvmayorscup.com/). Happening on February 15-18th, 2013, the tournament gives the boys yet another stage to showcase their talent.

The team trains two times per week and plays in various exhibition games with elite soccer clubs around the area.

Reseaching Soccer Scholarship Information

For any player or parent who is interested in learning more or getting unbiased information involved with obtaining a soccer scholarship, you may find the attached video links shown below from the Ontario Soccer Association of value.

While soccer coaches, clubs and various elite level teams will make all kinds of promises regarding scholarship potential in order to recruit players. Its very important to do your own research, obtain independant information from noteworthy sources and talk to others who have experienced this process. Don't just rely on a coach or club exclusively.
